I made this impromptu video while on a road trip with my dad, traveling around the Ozark Mountains in northern Arkansas and southern Missouri. No, I’m not a workaholic! I work a few hours each evening after he has gone to bed. 🙂
Moments ago, I received this awesome email from one of the new Sew Like A Pro™ members. I had to share it with you!
Despite the fact I have no makeup on and it’s 9:30 at night.
“The videos clips I have watched so far look like they have been very well done. You have really undertaken a huge project and have much to be proud of!
I have taken many online classes in sewing topics over the last few years (Craftsy.com, patternreview.com and some others) and I really think that the quality of yours is quite professional.
Looking forward to your smiling face in our upcoming classes!”
Whoo hoo! Thank you SEW much, Virginia!
When I got the idea to create an online sewing school, I had never taken an online class. I had no idea what was needed or what services I needed to offer. I had no idea where to start. Except I knew I wanted the best possible site with the most information possible. Because, hey, that’s the way I like to do everything in my life.
So I began taking online classes from the world’s best business coaches and online marketers. I spent thousands and thousands of dollars (more than the figure I mention in the video) and many, many hours learning what I needed to know to create a world-class product.
Since I’m a good student, I did everything they said.
I could not be more proud of SEW LIKE A PRO™. Given my current knowledge and limitations with the technological world, there is absolutely, positively no way the sewing school could be better. (Of course, things can always be improved, but that’s in the future when I’ve got a team working with me.)
I feel comfortable patting myself on the back saying,
“Well done. I have given the sewing students every tool and tip I routinely use to create beautifully fitting dance and skate costumes. I created a world-class product that will help thousands of seamstresses around the world.”
Watch this short blog for details about my trip as well as how I created a world-class membership site teaching dancers and skaters how to make professional quality costumes.
Class is in session. Enrollment is currently closed.
