You requested it. I created it.

IDEAL FABRICS FOR LEOTARDS AND SLEEVES is not only a one-of-a-kind training video you can use on your very next Dancesport, Country or Skate dress, but I also created an awesome (if I do say so myself 🙂 ) download that accompanies the video!

I’m super excited about this extended training because I get to cover some topics I don’t generally have time to cover in the shorter blogs.

If you’re a dancer or a skater, watch the video AND download the free PDF that accompanies the training.

You will love this list of IDEAL FABRICS FOR LEOTARDS AND SLEEVES

It’s pretty much guaranteed to simplify and validate your design-related, decision-making process whether you’re:

  • in the market for a used or off-the-rack dress
  • having a new dress custom made for you
  • or are making your costume from step one

Not only do I share with you which types of fabrics work best for bodices (leotards) and sleeves.

But because I truly want you to be able to make wise choices based on what YOUR body shape needs, I also tell you why fabrics look better on some body types than others and suggest ways you can chose what suits your body.

After all, you want your dress to look great on you! Not on someone else, right?

Even Dancesport judges will love this training video

I address and clarify two topics of contention in the Dancesport industry: sheer leotards and flesh color leotards. To wear them or not? …. Judges stand united on this topic: the answer is a resounding NO!

(Ice and roller skaters don’t seem to be guilty of this at all so you’re off the hook. Competitive Country dancers, you might want to pay close attention to that section since your costumes are often influenced by Ballroom and Latin trends.)
